Content Advisory: Mature topics will be discussed during this workshop related to intimate relationships and consent. Due to the nature of this content, this workshop is intended for individuals ages 16-22. Participants under 16 may be able to participate pending consultation with a guardian/parent and AIR program staffperson.
Maya Williams (ey/they/she) is a religious Black multiracial nonbinary writer who is currently the seventh poet laureate of Portland, Maine. Maya was one of three artists of color selected to represent Maine in The Kennedy Center’s Arts Across America series in 2020. Open to teen girls and gender expansive youth who feel like AIR is the right community for them.
Teens of all artistic abilities and skill levels are welcome. No prior experience required!
AIR is free of charge and provides transportation assistance to families in the Greater Seacoast area.
