DESCRIPTION:First Contact | Ages 14 – 18 \nMonday – Friday\, June 22 – 26\, 10:00 am – 3:00 pm \nNewmarket Millspace\, Newmarket\, NH \nFirst Contact is all about imagining alien civilizations and bringing them to life through art—during our week together\, we will design extraterrestrial species\, build strange new worlds\, and create solar systems\, spacecraft\, and out-of-this-world movie merch inspired by classic sci-fi. \nThis program also includes field trips to the McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center for a full-dome space show and a look at real spacecraft\, and the Portsmouth Historical Society to create mysterious\, museum-grade alien artifacts. \nThe week will close with an Intergalactic Expo to share discoveries and creations with friends and family! \n—\nAbout AIR Programs:\n\n\nOpen to teens of all artistic abilities and skill levels.
