Email info@artsinreach.org to join the waitlist.\n\nOpen to returning AIR participants ages 13+\nFree of charge\nTransportation assistance available if needed within the Greater Seacoast area.\n\nFrom NHTP:\nDreaming Again was adapted by Genevieve Aichele from interviews with over 40 immigrants and refugees to the state of New Hampshire.\nDirected by CJ Lewis. \nIn 2012\, New Hampshire Humanities commissioned playwright Genevieve Aichele to write a play based on the real life stories of refugees and immigrants in New Hampshire. The result was the play Dreaming Again\, which Aichele based on oral interviews with over 40 people who had left homes and lives in other countries to resettle in New Hampshire. Dreaming Again was performed by the NHTP across the state of New Hampshire to primarily adult audiences. \nIn 2013\, NHTP collaborated with the Mariposa Museum in Peterborough to bring Dreaming Again to a new audience\, this time middle and high school students and teachers and school staff. That pilot brought Dreaming Again to 16 schools as well as to community audiences in Portsmouth and Peterborough. In 2023\, NHTP will again be collaborating with Mariposa Museum\, who will be coordinating the school tour across New Hampshire. \nThe multicultural cast features five actors and three musicians playing multiple roles. Dreaming Again also uses music from many different cultures and traditions\, arranged by Agnes Charlesworth. \nGiven New Hampshire’s role as a refugee resettlement state this play is as relevant today as it was 10 years ago. Dreaming Again is a collection of stories told by real people who live in our state right now. Hearing their personal experiences deepens understanding\, and builds empathy and connections for the audience.

DESCRIPTION:This spring Arts In Reach hosted two wearable art programs: SPARC Lab for ages 11-13 and Wild Imaginings Project for ages 14-18. Participants upcycled clothing donated from our community using methods such as: block printing\, embroidering\, painting\, sewing\, and more! \nCome celebrate these teen fashion designers as they show off their lewks on the runway! This event will be at the fabulous Mall at Fox Run (50 Fox Run Rd\, Newington\, NH 03801) at 6:30pm. The event will last no longer than an hour. \nThere will be limited seating available\, so BYOC (Bring Your Own Chair) if you want to be guaranteed a seat. \nGetting to the venue: Use the main entrance by Men’s Wearhouse. It will be in the open area where the mall hosts their Santa and Easter Bunny photo ops. We’ll have a blast DIY-ing own unique hats\, masks\, and other accessories just in time for Halloween. Bring your own accessories\, or use some of ours! \n—\nAbout AIR Programs:\n\nOpen to teen girls and gender expansive youth who feel like AIR is the right community for them.\nTeens of all artistic abilities and skill levels are welcome.
